Alcatel-Lucent portfolio enhancements speed introduction of new, richer services and applications in the enterprise

Alcatel-Lucent has announced a new platform, the 7210 Service Access Switch, which creates new revenue opportunities for service providers. The family of next generation, small footprint customer edge devices extends Carrier Ethernet to the enterprise site, giving enterprises richer service and application offerings, supported by guaranteed quality of service (QoS) that extends to the customer site.
