Part of Alcatel's IP Transformation Portfolio
IP transformation entails transitioning access, aggregation, routing, and transport networks to an all-IP network. This introduces new challenges to maintain network integrity, end-to-end QoS, and security for content protection and user authentication.
From Business Strategy to Network Evolution
Alcatel's Network Program takes your network transformation plans from the drawing board to the real world. By adapting reference solutions, we create a customized program for your service objectives and operational constraints. We reduce network complexity and improve total cost of ownership by converging multiple networks over a common infrastructure. And, we help you to answer difficult technology questions.
Sound Practices
The scope of Alcatel's Network Program includes the following practices.
- Consulting and requirements
A detailed assessment of your current environment and operational conditions, combined with your service strategy, to develop a reference architecture. We recommend network topology, specific technology, implementation schedules; and create process and functional requirements for the master project plan.
- Design and architecture
From the customer premises to the service platform, this architecture is the technical blueprint for master project plan implementation.
- Solution integration and testing
Extensive tests are conducted in the Alcatel Strategic Solutions Lab to minimize commercial and technical risks, resulting in an approved network solution release.
- Deployment
The processes, methods, and procedures to get your network up and running. Alcatel also commissions and installs equipment and software, and performs field-level testing.
- Migration
Outlining the full scope of work required for cutover, maintenance and support of your all-IP network; including strategy, scope, and definition of tasks and responsibilities.
