From November to March, a candy-coloured skyline of ice sculptures sweetens the celebration of Chinese New Year by the Amur River, in the city of Heihe. When night falls, visitors come in great numbers to admire, and have their picture taken in front of those faddish artworks. Heihe is located on the Russian border, on the south bank of the Amur River, across the river from the Russian city of Blagoveshchensk.
