Portraits of Peace
Exhibition of photographs by Micheline Pelletier
 

Alcatel is presenting in its Atrium 'Portraits of Peace', the photographic reportage started in 1998 on the laureates of the Nobel Peace Prize by Micheline Pelletier, from October 6 to December 11, 2006.

In recent years, I have travelled the world to meet various men and women who have received this prize, the most prestigious in the world, and who have battled violence and terror.
This exhibition is dedicated in particular to Aung San Suu Kyi in Burma, the only one of the Nobel Peace Prize winners to have been deprived of her freedom.

This exhibition is composed of 26 photographs (100 x 100 cm - with inscriptions) realized since 1998.
In 2000, her reportage on the recipients of the Nobel Peace Prize was published in 22 countries.

The portrait Mr Muhammad Yunus just awarded as 2006 Nobel Peace Prize will be added in the exhibition.
